EGYPTAIR ANNOUNCES NEW DISTRICT MANAGER FOR CYPRUS AND THE START OF OPERATIONS ON LARNACA – CAIRO FLIGHTS USING ITS NEWEST A220-300 AIRCRAFT

EGYPTAIR together with AIRTRANS, its Representative in Cyprus, recently hosted a Business Meeting, announcing Mr. Ehab A. Zaky as new District Manager for Cyprus.

Media Representatives and Travel Agents from across Cyprus, gathered at The Landmark Nicosia to meet EGYPAIR’s new District Manager for Cyprus, and to discuss EGYPTAIR’s further upgrade of services for Cyprus in 2020.

Eighty-Six years ago EGYPTAIR, then called MISR AIRWORKS, became the first airline to fly an aircraft between Egypt and Cyprus. The airline operates a daily flight from Larnaca Airport to Cairo International Airport, and a wide network via Cairo, reaching 70 non-stop destinations and more than 1300 airports in 191 countries through Star Alliance.

In his presentation, Mr. Ehab A. Zaky announced the operation of Larnaca – Cairo flights using EGYPTAIR’s newest A220-300 starting Sunday March 29th, 2020. EGYPTAIR is the first in the Arab carriers and the sixth in the world to receive this aircraft, equipped with 140 seats; 15 in Business class and 125 in economy class. Equipped with modern technologies such as Wi-Fi, video broadcasting and streaming through mobile phones and laptops, this new service upgrade has customer comfort in mind.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ehab A. Zaky, District Manager for EGYPTAIR Cyprus, said: “EGYPTAIR has a long and deep relationship with Cyprus, one which will continue for many more years to come.
